How can I adopt a dog or cat from Romania ?
If you are interested in adopting a dog or cat from Romania, we will need carry out a homecheck prior to adoption. We are unable to rehome dogs to families that work full time, have children in the family under the age of 2 years old and/or have an unsecure garden. We ask for an adoption fee of £195 for dogs and £100 for cats. The dogs/cats are fully vaccinated, spay/neutered, flea and worm treated and microchipped before leaving Romania. The dogs/cats travel to the UK via the TRACES scheme and on a pet passport. Once in the UK the dogs/cats remain in UK kennels for 48 hours and can then be collected by their new adopters and taken home. Follow up checks will be carried out after adoption.
For more information or to arrange a homecheck please contact us via the online contact form (found on the 'contact' page) or email:
I would like to sponsor a dog, how to I go about it ?
We have a selection of dogs that require sponsors in order to keep them safe and fed until loving homes can be found for them. Please take a look at the 'sponsor a dog' page and then contact us via the online contact form (found on the contact page) or email to let us know which dog you would like to sponsor. Its costs around 45 euros per month to keep a dog safe in Romania, therefore we suggest a monthly sponsor amount of between £5 and £35. Sponsors will receive a certificate with a photo of their sponsor dog.
